King Ordoño I
King Ordoño I was a ruler of the Kingdom of León in the early 10th century, reigning from 850 to 856. He was the son of King Ramiro I and played a significant role in the consolidation of the Christian kingdoms in the Iberian Peninsula during a time of Muslim expansion.
During his reign, Ordoño I focused on strengthening his kingdom's defenses and expanding its territory. He is known for his efforts to promote Christianity and support the church, which helped to establish León as an important center of power in medieval Spain.
