King Leontes
King Leontes is a character from William Shakespeare's play, The Winter's Tale. He is the King of Sicilia and is known for his sudden and irrational jealousy, particularly towards his pregnant wife, Hermione, and his best friend, Polixenes. This jealousy leads him to falsely accuse Hermione of infidelity.
As a result of his actions, Leontes experiences significant personal loss, including the death of his son and the presumed death of Hermione.
