King Frederick IV of Denmark
King Frederick IV of Denmark reigned from 1699 to 1730. He was born on October 11, 1671, and was the son of King Frederick III. His reign is noted for efforts to strengthen the Danish monarchy and improve the country's economy, particularly through trade and agriculture.
Frederick IV also focused on military reforms and sought to expand Denmark's influence in Northern Europe. He was involved in several wars, including the Great Northern War, which aimed to secure Denmark's position against rival powers. His reign ended with his death on May 12, 1730.
