King Christian II
King Christian II was a monarch who ruled over Denmark, Norway, and Sweden during the early 16th century. He became king in 1513 and is known for his attempts to centralize power and reform the government. His reign was marked by conflicts with the nobility and struggles to maintain control over the territories he governed.
Christian II is also remembered for the infamous Stockholm Bloodbath in 1520, where many Swedish nobles were executed. His rule ended in 1523 when he was deposed and fled to Exile in the Netherlands. Despite his challenges, he left a lasting impact on Scandinavian history.
