Kiichiro Toyoda
Kiichiro Toyoda was a Japanese industrialist and the founder of the Toyota Motor Corporation. Born on June 11, 1894, he was the son of Sakichi Toyoda, a pioneer in the textile industry. Kiichiro played a crucial role in transforming his father's company from a loom manufacturer into a leading automobile producer.
In 1936, Kiichiro introduced the first passenger car, the Toyota AA, marking the beginning of the company's journey in the automotive industry. Under his leadership, Toyota became known for its innovative production techniques, which later influenced global manufacturing practices, including the development of the Toyota Production System.
