Key Stage 2 SATs
Key Stage 2 SATs are standardized tests taken by children in England at the end of Year 6, typically when they are 11 years old. These assessments measure students' knowledge and skills in core subjects such as English, Mathematics, and Science. The results help schools and parents understand how well children are performing compared to national standards.
The tests are usually held in May and consist of a series of papers that assess reading, grammar, punctuation, spelling, and mathematics. The outcomes are reported as scaled scores, which indicate whether students have met the expected level of achievement for their age.
