Kayode Fayemi
Kayode Fayemi is a Nigerian politician and a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC). He served as the Governor of Ekiti State from 2010 to 2014 and again from 2018 to 2022. Fayemi is known for his focus on education, infrastructure development, and governance reforms during his tenure.
Before entering politics, Fayemi was an academic and a human rights activist. He earned a degree in History from Obafemi Awolowo University and a Ph.D. from University of Illinois. In addition to his governorship, he has held various positions, including serving as the Minister of Solid Minerals Development in Nigeria.
