Kavalan Distillery is a Taiwanese whisky distillery located in Yuanshan Township, Taiwan. Established in 2005 by the King Car Group, it is known for producing high-quality single malt whisky. The distillery's name, "Kavalan," comes from the indigenous Kavalan people of the region. Kavalan uses pure spring water from the nearby Snow Mountain and employs traditional Scottish whisky-making techniques. The distillery has gained international recognition, winning numerous awards for its whiskies, which are aged in a variety of cask types, including American oak and sherry casks.
