Katusha-Alpecin
Katusha-Alpecin was a professional cycling team that competed in various international road cycling events. Founded in 2009, the team was known for its strong roster of riders and its participation in prestigious races, including the Tour de France and Giro d'Italia. The team was sponsored by the Russian company Katusha and the German company Alpecin, a brand specializing in hair care products.
In 2019, Katusha-Alpecin underwent a significant change when it merged with the Israel Cycling Academy, leading to the formation of a new team called Israel Start-Up Nation. This transition marked the end of the Katusha-Alpecin brand, but many of its riders and staff continued to compete under the new team name.
