Kartvelian languages
The Kartvelian languages are a small family of languages primarily spoken in the region of Georgia in the South Caucasus. This language group includes four main languages: Georgian, Mingrelian, Laz, and Svan. Georgian is the most widely spoken and serves as the official language of Georgia.
These languages are unique in their structure and phonetics, featuring complex consonant clusters and a rich system of verb conjugation. The Kartvelian languages are not closely related to any other language family, making them an important area of study for linguists interested in language diversity and evolution.
