Mingrelian
Mingrelian is a language spoken primarily in the western region of Georgia, particularly in Samegrelo. It belongs to the Kartvelian language family, which also includes Georgian, Laz, and Svan. Mingrelian has its own unique characteristics and is not mutually intelligible with Georgian, although they share some similarities.
The language is primarily used by the Mingrelian people, an ethnic group in Georgia. While Mingrelian is mainly a spoken language, it has limited written forms. The number of speakers has declined over the years, leading to concerns about its preservation and the cultural identity of the Mingrelian community.
