Kartvelian Languages
The Kartvelian languages are a small family of languages primarily spoken in the region of Georgia in the South Caucasus. This language group includes three main languages: Georgian, Mingrelian, and Laz. Georgian is the most widely spoken and has its own unique script, which is one of the oldest in the world.
These languages are known for their complex grammar and rich phonetic systems. They are not closely related to any other language family, making them unique in their structure and vocabulary. The Kartvelian languages have a long literary tradition, particularly in Georgian, which dates back to the 5th century.
