Karaim
Karaim is a small ethnic group primarily found in Lithuania, Poland, and Ukraine. They are descendants of the Karaite Jews, who follow a unique interpretation of Judaism that emphasizes the Hebrew Bible while rejecting the Talmud. The Karaim language, a Turkic language, is also an important aspect of their cultural identity.
The Karaim community has a rich history, dating back to the Middle Ages when they settled in Eastern Europe. They are known for their distinct religious practices, which include the observance of traditional Jewish holidays and customs, but with their own unique twists. Today, the Karaim continue to preserve their heritage and traditions amidst modern influences.
