Karácsony
Karácsony, or Christmas, is a widely celebrated holiday that commemorates the birth of Jézus Krisztus (Jesus Christ). It occurs on December 25th and is marked by various traditions, including gift-giving, festive meals, and decorations. Many people decorate their homes with karácsonyfák (Christmas trees) and lights, creating a joyful atmosphere.
In addition to its religious significance, Karácsony has become a cultural event in many countries. Families often gather to celebrate with special meals, music, and activities. In some places, Mikulás (Santa Claus) plays a central role, bringing gifts to children, further enhancing the festive spirit of the season.
