Kalta Minor Minaret
The Kalta Minor Minaret is an unfinished minaret located in Khiva, Uzbekistan. It was constructed in the early 19th century and was intended to be the tallest minaret in the region, reaching a height of 70 meters. However, the project was halted, leaving the minaret at about 26 meters tall.
The minaret is notable for its striking blue tile work, which features intricate geometric patterns. It stands next to the Islam Khodja Complex, which includes a mosque and a madrasah, making it a significant architectural landmark in the historic city of Khiva.
