Kakagon Sloughs
Kakagon Sloughs is a unique wetland area located in northern Wisconsin, part of the larger Bad River Reservation. This ecosystem is characterized by a network of channels, marshes, and islands, providing a habitat for diverse wildlife, including birds, fish, and amphibians. The sloughs are significant for their rich biodiversity and play a crucial role in water filtration and flood control.
