KFDA
The KFDA, or Korea Food and Drug Administration, is a government agency in South Korea responsible for ensuring the safety and efficacy of food, drugs, and medical devices. Established in 1996, the KFDA regulates the approval process for new products, conducts inspections, and monitors the market to protect public health.
In addition to overseeing pharmaceuticals and food safety, the KFDA also plays a role in promoting health education and research. The agency collaborates with international organizations to align its standards with global practices, ensuring that South Korean consumers have access to safe and effective products.
