Kākāpō
The Kākāpō is a large, flightless parrot native to New Zealand. Known for its distinctive green and yellow plumage, it has a stout body and a large beak. Kākāpō are nocturnal and primarily herbivorous, feeding on fruits, seeds, and flowers.
This species is critically endangered, with conservation efforts in place to protect its dwindling population.
