Jyotirlingas
Jyotirlingas are sacred shrines dedicated to Lord Shiva, one of the principal deities in Hinduism. There are twelve revered Jyotirlingas spread across India, each representing a different manifestation of Shiva. These shrines are significant pilgrimage sites, attracting devotees who seek blessings and spiritual fulfillment.
Each Jyotirlinga has its own unique legend and significance, often linked to ancient texts like the Shiva Purana. The most famous among them include Somnath, Kashi Vishwanath, and Mahakaleshwar. Pilgrims believe that visiting these sites can lead to liberation and a deeper connection with the divine.
