Junior Canadian Rangers
The Junior Canadian Rangers (JCR) is a youth program designed for young people aged 12 to 18 in remote and isolated communities across Canada. It aims to promote leadership, teamwork, and outdoor skills while fostering a sense of pride in Canadian culture and heritage. Participants engage in various activities, including traditional skills, survival training, and community service.
The program is part of the larger Canadian Rangers, which is a sub-component of the Canadian Armed Forces. The JCR encourages youth to develop confidence and resilience, while also providing opportunities for personal growth and community involvement.
