Juan Fernández
Juan Fernández is a small archipelago located off the coast of Chile in the South Pacific Ocean. It consists of several islands, with the largest being Isla Robinson Crusoe, named after the famous novel by Daniel Defoe. The islands are known for their unique biodiversity and are part of the Juan Fernández Islands National Park.
The archipelago has a rich history, including its discovery by Spanish explorers in the 16th century. It was also a refuge for Alexander Selkirk, a Scottish sailor whose experiences inspired the story of Robinson Crusoe. Today, the islands are a popular destination for eco-tourism and adventure activities.
