José Félix Uriburu
José Félix Uriburu was an Argentine military officer and politician who served as the de facto president of Argentina from 1930 to 1932. He came to power after leading a coup that overthrew the democratically elected president, Hipólito Yrigoyen. Uriburu's government was marked by authoritarian rule and efforts to suppress political opposition.
During his presidency, Uriburu implemented various reforms, including changes to the electoral system and attempts to modernize the military. His regime faced criticism for its repression of dissent and censorship of the press. After leaving office, he remained an influential figure in Argentine politics until his death in 1972.
