Joppa
Joppa is an ancient port city located on the Mediterranean coast of modern-day Israel. It is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world, with a history that dates back thousands of years. Joppa is known for its historical significance, including its role in trade and as a gateway for various civilizations, including the Egyptians and Romans.
In biblical history, Joppa is mentioned in the story of Jonah, who attempted to flee from God by boarding a ship there. It is also the site where the apostle Peter raised Tabitha from the dead, as described in the New Testament. Today, Joppa is part of the city of Tel Aviv and features archaeological sites and beautiful coastal views.
