Johnny Unitas
Johnny Unitas was a professional American football quarterback, widely regarded as one of the greatest players in the history of the sport. He played the majority of his career with the Baltimore Colts from 1956 to 1972 and was known for his strong arm, leadership, and ability to perform in clutch situations. Unitas was a three-time NFL Most Valuable Player and led his team to three championships, including the famous 1958 NFL Championship Game, often referred to as "The Greatest Game Ever Played."
Unitas was born on May 7, 1933, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He attended the University of Louisville, where he played college football before being drafted into the NFL.
