Johnny Bench is a former professional baseball player, widely regarded as one of the greatest catchers in the history of Major League Baseball (MLB). He played his entire career for the Cincinnati Reds from 1967 to 1983. Bench was known for his exceptional defensive skills, powerful batting, and leadership on the field, earning him two Most Valuable Player awards.
