John Kaczynski
John Kaczynski, also known as the Unabomber, is an American domestic terrorist and former mathematics professor. He is infamous for a nationwide bombing campaign that lasted from 1978 to 1995, targeting individuals involved with modern technology and industrial society. Kaczynski's actions resulted in three deaths and 23 injuries.
In 1996, Kaczynski was captured after his manifesto, titled "Industrial Society and Its Future," was published by major newspapers. He argued that technological advancement harms human freedom and the environment. Kaczynski is currently serving a life sentence without the possibility of parole in a federal prison.
