John F. Kennedy Stadium was a multi-purpose stadium located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Opened in 1926, it primarily served as a venue for American football and track and field events. The stadium had a seating capacity of around 32,000 and was home to various sports teams, including the Philadelphia Eagles and the Philadelphia Spartans.
The stadium hosted numerous significant events, including the 1976 Democratic National Convention and concerts by famous artists. However, by the late 1990s, it fell into disrepair and was eventually demolished in 2010. Today, the site is part of the John F. Kennedy Recreation Center.
