John Dillinger
John Dillinger was an infamous American bank robber during the Great Depression. Born on June 22, 1903, in Indianapolis, he became a notorious figure in the 1930s for his daring heists and ability to evade law enforcement. Dillinger was known for his charismatic personality and was often portrayed as a Robin Hood-like character by the media.
Dillinger's criminal activities led to his arrest multiple times, but he managed to escape from jail on several occasions. His crime spree came to an end when he was shot and killed by FBI agents on July 22, 1934, outside the Biograph Theatre in Chicago. His life and exploits have since become a part of American folklore.
