John B. Gordon
John B. Gordon was a prominent American military officer and politician during the 19th century. Born on February 6, 1832, in Georgia, he served as a Confederate general during the American Civil War. After the war, he became involved in politics and was elected as the governor of Georgia from 1886 to 1890.
