Johann Gottlieb Goldberg
Johann Gottlieb Goldberg was a German composer and harpsichordist born in 1727. He is best known for his association with the composer Johann Sebastian Bach, who is believed to have written the famous Goldberg Variations for him. Goldberg was a talented musician and served as a court musician in Dresden.
Goldberg's contributions to music include not only his performances but also his own compositions. He was recognized for his skill on the harpsichord and played a significant role in the development of keyboard music during the Baroque period. He passed away in 1756.
