Joel Pritchard
Joel Pritchard was an American politician and businessman, best known for his role in the Washington State Legislature. He served as a member of the Washington House of Representatives and later as a U.S. Congressman from 1973 to 1975. Pritchard was influential in various legislative efforts during his time in office.
In addition to his political career, Pritchard is recognized for co-inventing the sport of pickleball in 1965. Along with his friends, he created the game as a fun activity for their families, which has since grown into a popular sport enjoyed by many around the world.
