Washington House of Representatives
The Washington House of Representatives is one of the two chambers of the Washington State Legislature, responsible for creating and passing state laws. It consists of 98 members, each representing a specific district within the state. Members serve two-year terms and are elected by the residents of their districts.
The House works alongside the Washington State Senate to discuss and vote on legislation, budget proposals, and other important issues affecting the state. The House also plays a key role in the state’s budget process and can initiate revenue-related bills.
