Jiddu Krishnamurti
Jiddu Krishnamurti (1895-1986) was an Indian philosopher and spiritual teacher known for his thoughts on the nature of the mind and human consciousness. He gained prominence in the early 20th century when the Theosophical Society proclaimed him as the "World Teacher." However, he later rejected this role, emphasizing individual freedom and self-discovery.
Krishnamurti's teachings focused on the importance of personal insight and the need to question established beliefs and societal norms. He traveled extensively, giving talks and writing books that encouraged people to explore their own thoughts and emotions, rather than relying on external authorities or doctrines.
