Jerry Rubin
Jerry Rubin was an American social activist and counterculture leader, best known for his role in the 1960s anti-war movement. He co-founded the Youth International Party, also known as the Yippies, which aimed to promote social change through unconventional and often theatrical protests. Rubin became a prominent figure during the Chicago Democratic National Convention in 1968, where he and other activists organized demonstrations against the Vietnam War.
In addition to his activism, Rubin was an author and entrepreneur. He wrote several books, including "Do It!" which encapsulated the spirit of the counterculture movement. Later in life, he shifted his focus to business and became involved in the New Age movement, advocating for personal and social transformation.
