Jerboa
The jerboa is a small, nocturnal rodent found primarily in desert regions of Africa and Asia. It is known for its long hind legs, which allow it to hop quickly across sandy terrain, similar to a kangaroo. Jerboas have large ears and a long tail, which helps with balance and communication.
These animals are adapted to arid environments, having the ability to survive with little water. They primarily feed on seeds, insects, and plants. Jerboas are also known for their burrowing habits, creating tunnels to escape the heat of the day and avoid predators like snakes and birds.
