Jean Moulin
Jean Moulin was a prominent French political figure and a key leader of the French Resistance during World War II. Born on June 20, 1899, in Béziers, he initially worked as a civil servant and became involved in politics. After the German occupation of France, he dedicated himself to uniting various resistance groups against the Nazi regime.
Moulin played a crucial role in organizing the resistance efforts and was appointed by Charles de Gaulle to coordinate the different factions. He was arrested by the Gestapo in 1943 and died under torture, becoming a symbol of courage and sacrifice in the fight for freedom in France.
