Jarai people
The Jarai people are an ethnic group primarily found in the Central Highlands of Vietnam and parts of Cambodia. They are known for their rich cultural heritage, which includes traditional music, dance, and unique weaving techniques. The Jarai language belongs to the Austronesian language family, and many Jarai people practice agriculture, cultivating crops like rice and cassava.
The Jarai community is organized into clans, each with its own customs and traditions. They often live in stilt houses and maintain a close relationship with their natural environment. Traditional beliefs coexist with Buddhism and Christianity, reflecting the diverse influences in their region.
