Japanese invasions
The term "Japanese invasions" often refers to the military campaigns launched by Japan during the late 19th and early 20th centuries, particularly in China and Korea. These invasions were driven by Japan's desire to expand its territory and influence, leading to conflicts such as the First Sino-Japanese War (1894-1895) and the Russo-Japanese War (1904-1905).
During World War II, Japan conducted further invasions across Asia, including the Philippines, Malaya, and Indochina. These actions aimed to establish a Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere, resulting in significant military and civilian casualties, as well as long-lasting impacts on the affected regions.
