Janggi
Janggi is a traditional Korean board game, often referred to as Korean chess. It is played on a 9x10 grid and features two players, each controlling 16 pieces. The objective is to capture the opponent's general, similar to the king in Western chess, while strategically moving pieces like knights, cannons, and pawns.
The game has unique rules, including the ability to move pieces across the board's river and the use of a palace where the general can only move within specific boundaries. Janggi emphasizes tactical thinking and foresight, making it a popular pastime in Korea.
