Jane Hawking
Jane Hawking is an English author and educator, best known for her marriage to the renowned theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking. She was born on January 2, 1944, in London, England. Jane played a significant role in supporting Stephen's career, especially during the early years of his diagnosis with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), which left him almost completely paralyzed.
In addition to her support for Stephen, Jane has written several books, including her memoir, Travelling to Infinity: My Life with Stephen, which details their life together and the challenges they faced. She has also worked as a lecturer in languages and literature, contributing to education and literature throughout her career.
