Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction is an American rock band formed in 1985 in Los Angeles, California. The group is known for its eclectic sound, blending elements of alternative rock, punk, and metal. The original lineup included lead vocalist Perry Farrell, guitarist Dave Navarro, bassist Eric Avery, and drummer Stephen Perkins.
The band gained fame with their 1990 album, Ritual de lo Habitual, which featured hits like "Been Caught Stealing" and "Stop!" Jane's Addiction is often credited with helping to popularize the alternative rock genre in the early 1990s and played a significant role in the formation of the Lollapalooza festival.
