Jana Novotná
Jana Novotná was a professional tennis player from Czechoslovakia, born on October 2, 1968. She became known for her powerful serve and strong net play, which helped her achieve significant success on the WTA Tour. Novotná won 24 singles titles and was ranked as high as world No. 2 in 1997.
One of her most notable achievements came in 1998 when she won the Wimbledon singles title, defeating Natalia Zvereva in the final. Novotná also excelled in doubles, winning 76 titles and earning a gold medal at the 1988 Seoul Olympics. She passed away on November 19, 2017.
