James The Less
James The Less is one of the twelve apostles of Jesus Christ. He is often identified as the son of Alphaeus and is sometimes referred to as James the Just to distinguish him from James the Greater, another apostle. His role among the apostles is not extensively detailed in the New Testament, but he is believed to have been a witness to the teachings and miracles of Jesus.
Traditionally, James The Less is associated with the early Christian community in Jerusalem. He is thought to have played a significant role in spreading the message of Christianity after the resurrection of Jesus. His feast day is celebrated on May 3rd in the Western Christian calendar.
