James Randi
James Randi was a Canadian-American magician and skeptic, best known for his work in debunking paranormal claims and pseudoscience. Born on August 7, 1928, he gained fame for his stage performances and later became a prominent figure in the skeptical movement, advocating for critical thinking and scientific inquiry.
Randi founded the James Randi Educational Foundation in 1996, which offered a million-dollar prize for anyone who could demonstrate supernatural abilities under controlled conditions.
