James III of Aragon
James III of Aragon was a king who ruled from 1285 to 1291. He was the son of Peter III of Aragon and Constance of Sicily. His reign was marked by challenges, including conflicts with the Crown of Castile and internal strife within his kingdom.
James III's rule was short-lived, as he died young, likely due to illness. After his death, the throne passed to his brother, Frederick II of Aragon. James III's legacy is often overshadowed by the more prominent figures in Aragonese history, but he remains a part of the region's royal lineage.
