Jameos del Agua
Jameos del Agua is a unique tourist attraction located in Lanzarote, one of the Canary Islands, Spain. It was created from a volcanic tunnel formed by the eruption of the La Corona Volcano. The site features a series of natural caves and pools, showcasing stunning geological formations and a beautiful underground lake.
Designed by the famous artist and architect César Manrique, Jameos del Agua combines nature and art. Visitors can explore the caves, enjoy a restaurant, and even see the rare blind albino crabs that inhabit the waters. The site is a perfect example of how to harmonize architecture with the natural environment.
