Jamaican Parliament
The Jamaican Parliament is the legislative body of Jamaica, responsible for making and passing laws. It consists of two houses: the House of Representatives and the Senate. Members of the House of Representatives are elected by the public, while Senators are appointed by the Governor-General on the advice of the Prime Minister and the Leader of the Opposition.
The Parliament meets at the National Heroes Park in Kingston, the capital of Jamaica. It plays a crucial role in shaping the country's policies and governance, ensuring that the voices of the citizens are represented in the decision-making process.
