Jain faith
The Jain faith is an ancient Indian religion that emphasizes non-violence, truth, and asceticism. Followers, known as Jains, believe in the concept of ahimsa, which means non-harming to all living beings. They practice strict vegetarianism and often avoid activities that could cause harm to even the smallest creatures.
Central to Jain beliefs is the idea of karma and the cycle of birth and rebirth, known as samsara. Jains strive for spiritual liberation, or moksha, by following the teachings of the Tirthankaras, who are revered spiritual teachers. The faith promotes self-discipline and compassion towards all forms of life.
