Jabir ibn Hayyan
Jabir ibn Hayyan was an influential Persian alchemist, philosopher, and polymath who lived during the 8th century. Often referred to as the "father of chemistry," he is credited with developing early scientific methods and techniques that laid the groundwork for modern chemistry.
