Ja'fari School
The Ja'fari School is a branch of Islamic jurisprudence followed primarily by the Shia Muslims, particularly the Twelver sect. It is named after Imam Ja'far al-Sadiq, the sixth Shia Imam, who is credited with developing its foundational principles. This school emphasizes the importance of both the Qur'an and the teachings of the Imams in interpreting Islamic law.
In the Ja'fari School, legal rulings are derived from a combination of the Qur'an, the Sunnah (traditions of the Prophet Muhammad), and the sayings of the Imams. It places a strong emphasis on reasoning and personal judgment, allowing for flexibility in legal interpretations to address contemporary issues faced by the community.
